Bringing the relaxing and revitalizing atmosphere of the beach to this artfully designed loft cabana; Ranchito is the perfect getaway room for friends or family. Our local artisans of Cambutal have incorporated the traditional techniques of using renewable materials such as clay tiles, local woods and palm leaves to create this special cabana. This spacious room offers the best atmosphere to kick back and relax.
The Ranchito cabana is equipped with two king size beds, which can be converted into four twin size beds, a private terrace facing the luscious tropical vegetation and exotic plants, fine linens, organic bath products, air-conditioning, and a mini bar to keep your refreshments cold.

Built with love by our local artisans from Cambutal, the Hanuman cabana is elegant and comfortable, including two handcrafted king sized beds, a large stone and subway tile shower with double sinks, and a huge covered outdoor patio which is right next to the pool and steps away from the Pacific Ocean.
This cabana is a perfect getaway suite for the family or friends of four, as the two king sized beds can be converted into four twin sized beds. You will find inside this beautiful room handcrafted tropical wood ceilings, a handmade drift wood door separating the washroom and suite, and handcrafted drift wood furniture to place your belongings. RIO GRANDE
Having such beautiful and dramatic tidal changes in Cambutal, we felt La Marea was the perfect name for one of our oceanfront, luxurious cabanas. This private cabana is accessed by a hand-laid stone pathway that meanders through the leafy vegetation.
This ground floor cabana comes equipped with custom pieces designed by the owners and hand crafted by local artisans from the country-side.
La Marea comes with a very large private terrace with a nice view of the surrounding trees along with the sounds and view of the ocean's tide. Cedro Espino is the Spanish name for Spiny Cedar and the perfect name for this tree house inspired second story cabana. Yes! All of our yoga classes will be taught for all levels and you can choose the frequency of which you would like to participate in class. Some students may only practice once a day or less. There will be a mix of formats throughout the week so you can try on different ways to practice. We invite you in to have some fun with it!

Cambutal - Discover One of the Best Surf Spots in Panama
The peaceful Panamanian village of Cambutal is located in the province of Los Santos in the Azuero Peninsula. It is about a five-hour drive away from the capital Panama City, and is situated in the southernmost point of Panama.
Cambutal’s beautiful beaches and mountains provide the ideal setting for a relaxing vacation experience where you will find inspiration from everything that surrounds you.
Fill your days exploring miles of Pacific coastline, enjoying some of the best surfing in Panama, eating delicious meals prepared with fresh local produce, or practicing yoga with the sound of ocean waves guiding your breath.
Cambutal is a special place that will grab your soul and help you build deep connections as you rely on those around you to uphold, support and encourage you to push your limits and reach your potential.

A complimentary shuttle service from Panama City to Sansara is included in your retreat. A large, air-conditioned, comfortable bus will begin pick-up at sharp 9:00 AM. Pick up is available only fromthe recommended hotels – Magnolia Inn, Central Hotel, American Trade Hotel and Las Clementinas. If you live in Panama, or if you are unable to stay at one of our recommended hotels, you can get on board the shuttle at American Trade Hotel. We would advise you to enjoy a good breakfast and carry water and snacks. We will have the large charter busy with cozy seats, A/C, and windows. It is comfortable. We stop a couple times to let people stretch and use the bathroom. Our trusty driver Romel even brings homemade empanadas from his grandmother :)
Please fly into Panama City at least the day before on Sept. 27th. We also encourage you to take advantage of the opportunity to spend a few days exploring Panama City.
Please book your flights to leave no earlier than 6PM on October 4th and strongly suggest booking flights that depart on the next day or later.

No you do not need a visa. A visa is not required for US citizens, Canadian citizens, and residents of several other countries to enter Panama for tourism or business stays of up to 90 days

Yes! We require a $750 non refundable deposit to save your spot. Once you’ve made your deposit you can expect to hear from us to set up a payment plan or pay your balance in full.

Please note that due to the logistics of planning a retreat we have a strict cancellation policy. All deposits are nonrefundable.
If you notify us via email over 90 days before the Retreat start date that you wish to cancel, we will be able to refund you the value of your registration, minus the non-refundable deposit, ONLY IF we are able to fill your spot with another participant. There are no refunds available, without exception, for any cancellations made within 90 days of the Retreat. Further, no credit or refund will be provided for any other circumstances, including no-shows or late cancellations, or if you must leave the Retreat early.

Sansara Surf is our in-house, world-class surf school which offers programs for everyone, no matter whether you are able to swim or not. If you are a beginner wanting to stand up on the board for the first time, an intermediate surfer wanting to increase your wave count or an advanced surfer looking to test your skills on our empty point breaks, you will find the guidance and support you need from our awesome and attentive surf coaching team.
Our coaching methods have been mindfully created for optimal growth and progression, so that you leave Panama’s best surf school, with a strong foundation and framework that will give you the confidence to ride anywhere in the world.
The multiple beach and point breaks of Cambutal, and the endless supply of whitewash and rolling waves in our neighboring surf town of Guanico, provide many opportunities to help you transform into a competent, knowledgeable and empowered surfer.

TRAVEL LOGISTICS
***Please plan to arrive in Panama City on September 27th. On the morning of September 28th, a comfortable, air-conditioned bus will transport us to Sansara, via paved highways, with an approximate travel time of 5 hours.
For our return journey, we will depart Sansara by bus on the morning of October 4th, heading back to Panama City. To ensure a smooth transition, please schedule your departing flights no earlier than 6 p.m. on October 4th. Alternatively, you may wish to spend the night in Panama City and arrange your departure for the following day.***
